Members review and advise commissioner on proposed revisions to animal welfare laws; assist commissioner in continuing implementation and evaluation of animal welfare laws and rules; review training programs for humane agents and animal control officers; research options for increasing revenue to Animal Welfare Fund; and advise commissioner on other matters related to animal welfare laws and rules.
